We're having a terrific time tonight...

I love this series of photographs I snapped on the Sony Ericsson a few weeks ago in front of the museum. We were at the Night Festival and you befriended a young Filipino girl about the same age as you. You both were chasing each other up and down the lawn. The photos tell a story that shows the range of emotions that you both displayed in getting to know each other - it was like a mini-courtship. The evening had a "magical" quality to it because the museum facade was being lighted up in a "glow in the dark" feel.

Grown Up

Ok this happened about 5 minutes ago....I've been tossing and turning trying to get to sleep and frankly about irritated by all the ruckus you've been creating trying to get to sleep. You've been talking to yourself and playing with your power rangers mystic force phone and it is almost 12! I turned flipped the position of the pillows around and you followed suit - flashing me a rueful look. Giving up on my frustration I whispered you "What do you want to do when you grow up Adan?". "I want to grow into a big boy, work hard for money and buy Cinderella and Mickey Mouse dresses for the two babies" you quipped. How did you grow up so fast? You've been exiled in JB for about two weeks and already you've grown in leaps and bounds. Not just physically but emotionally and mentally too.

I felt I had to write it down before I lost the moment. Memories are never as fresh as when it just happened so I wanted to make sure I got it down.

Your Two Sisters

Your two sisters arrived today - growing our little family from 3 to 5! Here's a video of them right after delivery (the younger one is closer to camera) - Arrival time at 1:26pm and 1:28pm respectively.

On hindsight, although it was inconvenient to find out you've come down with HFMD on the same day - it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise as your mama would need the time away to recover....we've yet to decide on the names but we are gravitating towards Summer and Anais....."A nice summer" has a nice ring to it....

We had a visit a couple of weeks ago from your Auntie Stephanie and Uncle Gian Chung along with your favourite cousin Baby Ryan, you couldn't help squeezing his cheeks and could not keep your hands off him!

Batman and the Joke

"You're the Batman, I'm the Joke!""No, I'm the Batman, you're the joke", "You're the Batman and I am the Joke!" It was hilarious when you didn't get the "joker" right and kept repeating it as "Joke"

Here you are at Dempsey Hill's carnival with Kids Central hanging out with the cast of R.E.M. You asked your mama "How come the cheh-cheh from tv can also be here".....

The Glamorous Threesome

Had some lights over from a shoot, so decided to do a semi-studio shoot, experimenting with some lights etc - with your mother at 8 months! Whoa! watch out for that thing....its huge. You've been asking questions like "How did the babies get into Mama's tummy?", "Is there any blood in the babies?", "How are the babies going to come out?" etc. We've tried to answer them the best we can....but you'll truly understand the answers to all of them eventually. We've been trying our best to prepare you for the arrival of your two sisters - knowing full well that you'll probably find some attention being diverted from you - you seem to be alright. Don't really know whether you fully comprehend it yet!
