Today is your 4th birthday our medium-boy!!! We had a nice party at school with a Green Power Rangers Mystic Force chocolate cream cake...yummy!!

And you and your classmates certainly looked like you all had a fun time!

First sightings...

Here's a good one. This is the scan when your mother and I found out that we were pregnant, after your Mama came back from her Australia trip. This was 21st Jan 2008. Little did we know a few weeks later we were going to find out that there would be TWO of them.

the boy who can't wait to grow up...

You surprised us today, your mother and I. Over breakfast, you earnestly exclaimed "When can I become big like you and Dada. I already eat so much food, but still not big like you...." with a look of frustration across your face. I'm not exactly sure what triggered it but on hindsight it was funny and touching at the same time - seeing you so keen on growing up and being exasperated. Not too soon, my son. Not too soon. Enjoy your childhood, free from the concerns of adulthood. It is an important part of your growth - so that you can always look back to a part of your innocence that reminds you most of the perfect soul that you really are. Not too soon, my son.

Watch Out For The Twosome...

Dear son,

Well, we're finally into our 5th month of your mom's pregnancy and its finally sunk it. They're coming. The twins. We found out after your mama came back from her little sojourn in Australia and then had another surprise when we found out that there were going to be two of them. I must say - you are perhaps the only one who has coolly taken the news. In fact, you seem pretty self-assured by calling them your baby sisters and telling your teachers that even before we confirmed their sexes - which happened this Monday. How did that happen? Anyway, here's a picture of mama's tummy at 20 weeks.....

Adan baba, you amused us yesterday at a viewing of Last Legion, starring Colin Firth, Ben Kingsley and Aishwarya Rai, amongst others...you watche quite a lot of films but you have never been enthusiastic about any actress...however this time you were transfixed with Aishwarya and repeated..."mama, that cheh cheh (older sister) is sooooooooo prettyy!!!!!".
